KILIMA TOURS EDUCATION FUND (KTEF).
Kilima Tours Education Fund was established by two sister organization Kilima Tourssafaris and The Professional Tour guide School located in Arusha Tanzania and Brussels in Belgium.
The aim of the Education Fund was to help and equips young unprivileged Tanzanian with skills and knowledge to be able to find jobs and better life for themselves and their families.`
The Tanzania Government had a strong initiative to making sure there are enough schools and teachers to make sure every child in the country, from town and cities to remote villages gets a free primary education and knowing the basics like Reading and Writing. This initiative has been very successfully in most of the area in the country. We are applauded the government for this and we wanted to be part of the more advanced initiative. A lot of young students are stranded after finishing the free primary school education, with a lot of them left out with a lack of chances to join secondary education and more advanced education which are still for the lucky and fortunate few. This is devastating to families and the country in general, with these kids running around the street most of them end up with no direction and also turn into bad ways.
Kilima Tours Safaris and Professional Tour Guide School form an initiative to help one young individual at a time, this initiative formed an education fund to be called Kilima Tours Education fund to oversee the success of the initiative, with the help from a part of profit made from organizing safari and trips around Tanzania, the development fund will help young people to get education and shelter at our school campus, they will receive counseling and making sure they know what they want and the best way forward for them. The professional Tour guide School is the leader in giving leadership training and with little help from our clients and visitors they have developed a special program to make our unprivileged young people get benefit from an ever growing Tourist industry and the economy in general by getting leadership training which will help them to secure good job and eventually help their extended families and make their community proud.
This initiative has helped dozens individual so far and they have all become successful and proud fathers, wife and sons to their respective families and respectable citizens communities.
Part of the profit made from organizing Safari and tours around Tanzania will be going directly to our Kilima ToursEducation Fund which will then redirected them to selected individual, who after a thorough interview and investigation about their needs and backgrounds will be chosen to join the program and will be supported till the end of the program. The program offer Guidance, Training and Counseling to make to our chosen needy candidate for the whole period of the program. At the end of the program the candidates will be given guidance through the process of finding jobs in respectable companies or helped to use their knowledge and skills to start their own projects like organizing tours to their respectable villages or become local guides in Cultural Tourism projects existing in their respective villages.
